Describing Taste and Flavor :
For a downright comforting meal, go for the Masala Dosa — a generous heap of potato, onion and tomato cooked with a splash of chilli and pepper, stuffed within thin, crisp and crunchy dosa which you must pair with the silky smooth coconut chutney or spicy sambhar, totally worth it.
The Atlas’s Mangalore Buns are loaded with flavours and crispness. Beautifully deep-fried Mangalore Buns are mildly sweet, soft fluffy pooris made with flour and banana and served with coconut chutney is satisfying, yet light enough to not warrant a food coma after.
The crowd-pleasing Potato Hash and open Masala Egg Omelet that comes with mix vegetables fried with eggs, surprisingly crisp and juicy, served with little fried potato and grilled tomato is another great option to share.
Alternatively, try the cheesy Sunny Side up. Mixed through with cheese, the dish is flavourful, with a good kick of flavour, and the butter toast on the side is made for mopping up all that deliciousness.
A must-order, especially if it’s your first time, is healthy Masala Poha. There are other healthy options like Idly and Uttappam. Other north Indian plates to try include the stuffed Paratha and Pao Bhaji.
If you still have space, you might be tempted by the irresistible Chole Bhature, but we recommend the Mangalore Buns instead. They are similar in taste but the latter is lighter and more affordable.
