Expect quality, sushi-based dishes that will knock your socks off, such as the Nigiri Moriawase Edo featuring various raw fish slices, Shake Maki, Naruto Maki and Tori Yakimeshi where teriyaki-style egg and chicken cooked with tasty Japanese fried rice.

Naruto Maki – Naruto Maki is a fresh fish sushi roll is wrapped in thin slices of cucumber, instead of rice. Each slice of Naruto has a pink or red spiral pattern, which is meant to resemble the Naruto whirlpools between Awaji Island and Shikoku in Japan.
Nigiri Moriawase Edo – Nigiri Moriawase Edo is assorted sushi consisting of a slice of various raw fish top of pressed vinegared rice. Chef Hanaya Yohei invented the Nigiri in 1824 during Edo period. Nigiri Moriawase is traditionally assortment of daily fresh catch over vinegared rice served with imported soy and wasabi.
Pink Dragon Maki – Pink Dragon Maki is where the shrimp tempura, smoked salmon and cucumbers are inside the roll, and thinly sliced avocado is placed on top of the roll resembling the scales of a dragon. Pink Dragon Maki roll is an inside-out sushi roll, which means nori wraps around the ingredients inside and the sushi rice is on the outside then topped with spicy mayo.
Shake Maki – Shake Maki is made with seaweed rolled around rice with Shake (Salmon) fillings and served with soy and wasabi. In Shake Maki roll, the fish, cucumbers and ingredients are rolled up inside of seaweed (nori) and vinegar rice.
Sashimi Moriawase Edo – Sashimi Moriawase Edo is thinly sliced raw meat of fresh Tuna, Salmon, Cuttlefish and Eel, served raw over a bed of shredded daikon radish. Sashimi Moriawase Edo made with variety of fish and each one provides a unique flavor and texture in your mouth, traditionally served with soy sauce and condiments such as wasabi paste, grated fresh ginger and grated fresh garlic.
Ebi Tempura – Ebi Tempura is succulent fresh prawns thinly coated with panko batter crumbs and fried until become golden and lightly crisp then served with tonkatsu sauce or daikon sauce. Deep fried tempura prawns are unbelievably crispy yet juicy and equally delicious – a comfort food for anytime.
Tori Sarada – Tori Sarada is a tempura styled shredded chicken salad mixed with avocado,iceberg lettuce,carrots and cucumber then served with spicy mayonnaise and sesame dressing. The nuttiness and aroma of freshly toasted sesame seeds spiced with sichimi pepper is what make this dressing a winner.
Tori Yakimeshi – Tori Yakimeshi is teriyaki-style flavourful and delicious Japanese fried rice with egg, chicken and vegetables. Tori Yakimeshi is made with Japanese short grain rice which normally plump and sticky, and it also has a chewy texture and more moisture content. With seductively savory combination of soy sauce, sake, butter and garlic seasonings this mouthwatering chicken-and-egg fried rice is full of flavors.
Describing Taste and Flavor :
Teppan is arguably most famous for their Nigiri Moriawase Edo, which is perfectly executed. You get a good ratio of sashimi to rice, good texture, and flavours that meld together amazingly. The nigiri sushi is top-notch as well. Think extremely fresh slice of assorted raw fish on well-seasoned sushi rice. Their Signature Nigiri Moriawase Edo literally tastes like the ocean, with uni, ebi, suzuki and tobiko.
One bite and it is evident that the Sashimi Moriawase Edo is super fresh, with the delicate, well-cut slices of fresh Tuna, Salmon, Cuttlefish and Eel simply melting in your mouth. They do Sashimi Moriawase Edo stunningly well, but that comes with a pretty hefty price tag.
Try their Naruto Maki – the pieces of fish are so lightly seared that they just melt in your mouth. DIVINE.
You’ll be spoilt for choice on Ebi Tempura. Neatly deep fried and served in a pop art style, golden brown and lightly crisp prawns are so gorgeous that you’ll find it hard to discard. This light and delicious Ebi Tempura will leave you full and satisfied.
